The
foundation was formed for the former and retired players in order to
acknowledge their contribution for football community and to express
appreciation. The NFL owners with the NFL players Association, Pro Football
Hall of Fame and NFL Alumni Association, together created this foundation named
NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF) in 2007. This foundation is dedicated to
improve the life of the former players by organizing programs that offer
aid and assistance to handle medical,
emotional, social and community problems. This provides recognition to the
former football players who had worked hard in the development and success of
NFL Football.
